Metal Blade Records is extremely proud to announce that Sweden's very own Viking metal masters Amon Amarth have just received a gold award for sales in the US on their first ever DVD Wrath of the Norsemen, which came out May 30th, 2006. This is not only an amazing accomplishment for the band and the label but for metalheads everywhere! It’s not often our genre sees numbers recognized by the RIAA for sales so we could not be happier to not only have accomplished this but to have reached this milestone in just over a years time.
