Selected illustrations from the autobiography of Agnes Thatcher Lake, 1829-1907. Nathaniel's interest in Agnes is no surprise, as she was a very interesting character. She was a tightrope walker, lion tamer, equestrian and the wife of Wild Bill Hickok. This is a clever narrative told in words and beautiful drawings to fit. Nathaniel worked on 15 pieces during his residency with us in the summer of 2008. All the works are included in this title.
