The 2022 Universal Japan reissue of the debut studio album of hard rock band Giant, originally released in 1989.
Led by producer/guitarist/vocalist (and industry legend) Dan Huff and rounded out by his brother David on drums (Whiteheart), Mike Brignardello on bass (Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Dethklok) and keyboardist/vocalist Alan Pasqua (Pat Benatar, Starship, Eddie Money), the band leaned heavily on great songwriting and strong performance chops - making this album a must-have for any AOR / hard rock fan.
Lead single "I'm A Believer" introduced them to the rock world with a bang, but it was their second single, the master power ballad "I'll See You In My Dreams" that earned them the most attention from the public - ultimately ending up peaking at #20 on the Billboard Hot 100.
While ultimately lost in the shuffle within the mass of bands playing this style in 1989, the debut impressed enough people that the band were able to follow it up with Time To Burn in 1992 before going on a long hiatus. In the years that followed, the album has developed a cult following the AOR/hard rock community and is now considered by many to be one of the finest examples of the genre.
