12" Don't Come Easy (Reissue) #227942
Description
2025 Real Gone Music reissue of the 1991 debut release from the New York based hard rock band, originally released by Geffen Records - first time on LP in the U.S.!
Yet another hard rock gem that surfaced just as the musical tides in American were beginning to shift.
Fronted by former Waysted vocalist Danny Vaughn, the band made a strong run for recognition amongst the sea of hard rock bands at the time. The album's lead single, "Forever Young", performed well in the East Coast and Midwest markets, but waning label support ultimately lead the album to wither on the vine.
Now considered an overlooked classic in hard rock fan circles, the album still continues to impress - mostly due to the terrific songwriting and the undeniable skill of guitarist Brooke St. James.
